When Dr. Sani and Dr. Eshaghian completed their fellowships at Cedars-Sinai and UC Irvine, they saw the same problem everywhere: patients with serious lung and sleep conditions were being sent across the city for procedures, shuffled between specialists who didn't communicate, and waiting weeks for answers that should arrive in days.
PulmoCrit was built with a clear objective: to bring the level of pulmonary and sleep medicine typically found at major academic centers into a private practice setting in the San Fernando Valley. From the beginning, the focus has been on delivering precise diagnosis, thoughtful clinical decision-making, and access to advanced technologies that are often unavailable in traditional community practices.
As the practice evolved, Drs. Eshaghian and Sani expanded PulmoCrit to further that vision by bringing on Dr. Kasra Sedarati. With a background rooted in academic medicine and advanced procedural training, Dr. Sedarati strengthened the group's ability to deliver cutting-edge, comprehensive pulmonary care. Together, the three physicians have built a practice that combines clinical depth, modern diagnostics, and coordinated care across multiple settings — outpatient, inpatient, and procedural.
